If the future largest Wind Farm in America is reportedly slated for Wyoming. Why haven't Colorado cities like Fort Collins, Steamboat, and others contacted it to purchase renewable energy from wind power? One of the largest green house CO2 polluters in Northern Colorado is the Rawhide Power Plant. Fort Collins like Boulder, Colorado has an opportunity to provide its citizens with a renewable energy source. Isn't it time we left the old fossil fuel power plants behind? Fort Collins could possibly now offer utility power to its citizens from a clean energy resource. The question remains how progressive is the City of Fort Collins and its citizens? Can it go toe to toe with Boulder into a green future?
